Egg Smash Adventures is a pixel-art idle clicker for Android where you smash eggs to discover hundreds of items across six themed monkey worlds. Built by a solo developer with zero ads, no energy timers, and no paywalls — just pure incremental fun the way it used to be.
Collect items by cracking eggs ranging from Common to the mythical Century Egg. Unlock monkey companions, equip cosmetic hats for stat bonuses, activate skills, and chase chain multipliers during Starfall events. Progress is offline-friendly, cloud-saved via Google, and entirely self-paced.
The premium shop offers cosmetic and convenience upgrades as one-time purchases. Nothing is locked behind a paywall — the full game is free to play.
History
The original Egg Breaker was a 2008 Facebook game by DJArts Games of Victoria, British Columbia — the studio's first title, and one that quietly built a cult following over nearly a decade across a whole series (Egg Breaker 2, Egg Drop, and Egg Breaker Adventures). Players tapped to crack eggs, collected items, and unlocked new worlds — a simple loop that turned out to be oddly compelling. DJArts renamed itself Codename Entertainment in July 2014, and in May 2016 announced it would stop making new content for the series while keeping the game itself online indefinitely. It was Adobe's discontinuation of Flash at the end of 2020 that finally made it unplayable — the game was left running exactly as promised, right up until the technology underneath it was switched off. No successor was ever made.
"I played the original constantly as a kid. When it vanished, I figured someone would eventually remake it — nobody did. So in 2025 I built it myself."
Egg Smash Adventures is a faithful spiritual successor: the same satisfying core loop, rebuilt from scratch with modern pixel art and six all-new monkey worlds — each with its own theme, lore, and collection. It launched on Android in May 2026.
The design philosophy is a direct reaction to what mobile clickers became: no interstitial ads, no eight-hour energy timers, no loot-box paywalls. Just the game.

About the Developer
YotJac is the solo developer handle of Yotam Jacob, an indie developer based in Israel. Egg Smash Adventures is his first commercial mobile release — designed, coded, and shipped entirely independently, including art direction, pixel graphics, game design, and backend infrastructure (Supabase, Google Play Billing, cloud save).
YotJac founded his one-person studio in 2025 with a focus on games that respect the player's time. Egg Smash Adventures launched on Android in May 2026, with an iOS release planned for the future.
